Rogers Logging, LLC is a 4th generation family owned and operated business based out of Altoona, Iowa. We have provided exceptional logging and tree harvesting services to hundreds of valued customers across the midwest. We are interested in most hardwoods, but specialize in Black Walnut, in which we have harvested hundreds of thousands of board feet. Landowners, farmers, developers, and residential homeowners alike, contact us when they're interested in selling timber or removing walnut trees. We locate and measure the trees to take up stumpage (board feet) and typically put a number on each tree with log marking paint. Once stumpage is taken, we present you with our best offer for your trees.

Protecting Your Forest

The last thing we want to do is damage your timber or property with large, heavy equipment!

We equip low impact, John Deere 4052m series tractors to do the bulk of our log skidding work. This lightweight, compact tractor model has very low ground impact and can navigate narrow pathways to ensure the preservation of your property and forest.
